Okay, this week sure went by faster than last week, the first workweek of 2010, which seemed endless after a two week Christmas vacation.  Hope yours was groovy – here’s what I’m loving as we head to a well deserved weekend!

• Spring in the city?  Following last weekend’s cold snap, glorious Toronto warms up to plus temps for a few days! Bless!
• I have a new gig: a semi-regular column for Soaps.com on The Young & The Restless.  It’ll be fun analyzing my favourite sport, and while I will have to be a tad nicer about the denizens of Genoa City than I am here on HIMBO! (my deconstructions will still continue ici) I can’t wait, and will let you know when the first column is up!
• How the simple fun of playing kong with my dogs Jack and Ella can provide so much unbridled, pure joy.
• TiK ToK! Ke$ha’s Animal is great bubblegum fun!  Lots of dirty girl dance $ong$, including one track that goe$ to the tune of that old rhyme: ‘In the land of Oz where the ladie$ wear no bra$, and the men don’t care, ‘cau$e they have no underwear’.  I can’t wait to $ee her perform at The Mod Club $unday!
• Law Of Attraction: Stopping myself in the midst of any negative thought I’m having (big or small) and remembering I am using that thought right now as my excuse not to be happy.  And then deliberate refocusing of my thoughts on what does make me happy so to attract more of the same.
• I get to go bowling tomorrow!  Bowling!  (Little known fact: I was a child bowling prodigy.)
• Susan G. Cole from NOW magazine, who joins us on the show every Thursday to discuss what’s up in our amazing city.  I just fucking love that sexy smart dyke to death.  Watch for her new book out next month.
