With Canadian Thanksgiving coming up (I know! Already!) I want to quickly plug something wonderful and important going on here in Toronto (and if you are one of the many who read HIMBO! outside my home city, read on anyway and tell your Toronto pals about it!).
Pie In The Sky is an annual Thanksgiving fundraiser to benefit The Toronto People With AIDS Foundation. (Yes, this is the same AIDS service organization for whom I rode from Toronto to Montreal this summer as part of The Friends For Life Bike Rally.)
By ordering a $35 pie, not only will you boom-boom-pow your Thanksgiving guests / hosts with a gourmet dessert baked by one of the city’s top celebrity chefs, but you’ll be greatly helping out the PWA food program’s home meal delivery for people living with HIV/AIDS who are home bound. All proceeds go directly to the program.
