Oprah Bonus

Dreams come true! Tell your story the way you want it to be – and your story becomes that.

When I decided I wanted to interview the queen of interviewers – mostly to say thank you to Oprah for providing me the nugget of truth I needed to make my dreams come true – I spoke my desire (audacious!) and I envisioned it (check out Oprah (below) with the lion (I’m a Leo) which I had on my vision board.) But most of all, I knew in my deepest part of my heart it would happen.

It took ten years. But a year ahead of finally making this dream reality, you could see the co-operative components aligning. I met a woman who offered to help me book guests – she knew Oprah – at a tea party I was invited to when OWN launched in Canada. Gayle King came on my show. Sheri Selata was in attendance at a workshop I also attended outside of Chicago; I was in the orbit. The path was lighting up. And then one day, I got the call. Somewhere on my social media there is a video of me racing around my apartment like a lunatic, joyous, giddy, ecstatic.

And, looking back, it had to take that long. I needed a good ten years of interviewing practice and experience to make me good enough to have the kind of conversation I got to have with Oprah.

Here it is. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope  you are telling your story the way you want it to be. If you ever want help with that, email me personally at [email protected].

I enjoy one-on-one coaching with people and will happily help you tell your story better and make your dreams come true.
