I always side stepped my dreams helping others find theirs…this way I could watch them succeed or fail without taking the risk myself. Only when I decided to step out in front of my dreams and have the courage to take the chance did I succeed. Helping others was rewarding but a distraction to what I wanted for myself…perhaps I was opting out but when I put myself first it gave me drive, panic, fear, elation and ultimately the surprise of success…asking…”Why didn’t I do this years earlier?” The option was always there, but it takes confidence and courage, I often set myself up to fail so I wouldn’t have to deal with the dream….the road not taken!
Oh, well, better late than never….but am I where I want to be in life? That’s the question!
